Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the entire inventory management process, including receiving, storage, and issuing materials.
Material Planning: Develop and implement material planning strategies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize inventory costs.
Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance.
Warehouse Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize storage space, implement efficient storage practices, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Goods Issue and Receipt: Manage the inflow and outflow of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and data in the company's inventory management system.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material usage, and supplier performance.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of material management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in material management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, ERP).
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in the automotive industry.
Proficiency in Mandarin (preferred).
