Job Responsibilities:
Cleanroom Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanroom environment meets cleanliness standards (e.g., ISO classification).
Regularly monitor and maintain air filtration systems, humidity, and temperature controls.
Chemical Handling:
Safely handle, store, and dispense chemicals according to safety protocols.
Ensure proper labeling and organization of all chemical storage areas.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections and tests on stored chemicals to ensure quality and compliance.
Document and report any deviations or quality issues.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety regulations and cleanroom protocols.
Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of chemical inventory, usage, and safety data sheets (SDS).
Document any incidents or safety concerns and report them to supervisors.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain specialized cleanroom equipment, such as laminar flow hoods and autoclaves.
Perform routine calibration and maintenance on laboratory instruments.
Training and Support:
Train new staff on cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
Provide support to other team members during processes and experiments.
Waste Management:
Properly manage and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to regulations.
Ensure waste containers are labeled and stored correctly.
Collaboration:
Work with engineers and chemists to optimize processes and improve cleanroom operations.
Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and control chemical inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking.
Assist in ordering chemicals and supplies as needed.
Pick up and restock the chemical at the chemical warehouse.
Analyze SAP inventory data to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock.
Ensure accurate inventory records through regular reconciliation and cycle counts.
Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Use SAP MRP functions to analyze production demands and calculate material requirements.
Generate purchase requisitions and production orders based on MRP outputs.
Monitor material availability to prevent production delays.
Procurement Coordination
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier data in SAP.
Production Scheduling Support
Align material planning with production schedules to ensure seamless workflow.
Resolve material-related issues that could impact production deadlines.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Generate reports on material availability, inventory status, and procurement activities using SAP tools.
Use SAP analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) like material shortages, delivery timelines, and inventory turnover.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with production, warehouse, and quality teams to manage material flow.
Address issues such as damaged materials, quality rejections, or unexpected demand changes.
System Maintenance and Optimization
Maintain material master data, bills of materials (BOMs), and routing information in SAP.
Continuously improve SAP configurations and workflows to streamline material planning processes.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in material planning.
Support audits by providing accurate material and inventory data.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any related course.
Excellent oral and written skills in English.
1-2 years or above of SAP experience will be added advantage.
Knowledge of cleanroom standards and practices.
Proficiency in chemical handling and safety procedures.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to operate specialized equipment and perform basic maintenance.
Effective communication skills for teamwork and training.
Proficiency in SAP Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) concepts and practices.
