Salary Range: RM3,800.00 - RM5,500.00 (Basic)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering and will be responsible for managing projects from initial design through completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities: • Project Management: Oversee the design, development, and execution of mechanical and electrical engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, project deadlines, and budget requirements.
• Design & Analysis: Review and interpret design specifications, technical drawings, and blueprints for mechanical and electrical systems, and provide engineering solutions as needed.
• Collaboration: To attend site meetings and work closely with architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and project progress.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including issuance of shop drawings, compilation & submission of material catalogues, technical reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings.
• Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular updates to management.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in mechanical and electrical engineering.
Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical and electrical project engineering or a similar role. (Fresh graduates are welcomed as on&off site trainings/guides will be provided) • Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks), project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certifications: Any certifications from Suruhanjaya Tenaga / SPAN / BOMBA are much appreciated (not compulsory) • Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, building codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency practices.
• Soft Skills: Highly self-initiative, able to work independently, attentive & quick-response, excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Travelling: Possess own vehicle and a valid Malaysia driving license for travelling for site visits and client meetings.
• Language: Must be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken) for effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members. * Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred, as it will aid in interacting with a diverse foreign clients/developers/main contractors* What We Offer: • Competitive salary and benefits package
