Dow Thailand Group has a vacancy forMechanical Integrity Repair Engineer , located at Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong.
Your responsibilities are:
Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise either equipment-design based, or repair technique based which impacts the availability, reliability, integrity and maintainability of the facility.
Ensures mechanical integrity assets are installed, repaired, inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with standards and in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Leads technical repair method for static mechanical equipment including but not limited to providing the method, reviewing/clarifying/communicating method with maintenance planner, coordinating with SME & Senior Engineer for approval as required and executing work in the field according to approved repair method and complied with repair codes and standards.
Performs fit for service assessments and stress analysis.
Ensures all maintenance activities fully comply with (Dow) Pressure Equipment and Pressure Relief Devices Integrity Management Plans, Leak Management Plan and Corrosion Management Plan.
Participates in process hazard assessments.
Executes mechanical engineering activities safely.
Provides Technical Liaison and coordination with the equipment vendors and support contractors.
Learns from and assists subject matter experts in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/College Degree in Methodologist/Mechanical/Welding Engineering or equivalent.
Min.
5 years experience in repairing piping, storage tank, PCE and life-for-life static equipment replacement in Chemical or Petrochemical/Refinery industry.
Experienced in construction work and well-communicated on field execution with technician and contractor.
CSWIP/CWI certification holding is an advantage.
Good knowledge of construction/inspection codes such as ASME VIII, Div 1,2, ASME B31.3, API 650, 620, 653, 510, 570, NBIC 23 etc.
Fully conversant with Critical Lifting of Static Equipment in Refineries, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants.
Hydro-Blasting, Chemical Cleaning of Static Equipment in Refineries, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants (Optional).
Experience in hydrocarbons cracker manufacturing technologies.
Good spoken and written English, equivalent to TOEIC score of 650 or above.
