We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Equipment Engineer to join our plastic manufacturing team. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and optimization of machinery and equipment essential to our production processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems operate efficiently and meet production standards. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve machinery reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plastic manufacturing equipment, such as injection molding machines, extruders, and automated systems.Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment longevity.Optimize machinery performance by analyzing and modifying equipment setups and components to enhance production efficiency.Collaborate with process engineers and production staff to identify and address production issues.Design and implement modifications to existing equipment to increase capacity and reduce costs.Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.Develop and implement training for operators and technicians on proper use and maintenance of machinery.Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations in all machinery and equipment operations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in plastic manufacturing.Proficiency in mechanical systems and components, with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing production equipment.Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or SolidWorks) for designing equipment modifications.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards in plastic manufacturing.Preferred Skills:
