The MES Support engineer is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within the organization.
This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring system integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize MES performance.
Responsibilities:
Conduct basic troubleshooting on MES and all related systems and provide ongoing end user support.
Work with users to assist in getting data out of SQL Systems.
Provide ongoing support and technical assistance to users and address any system-related concerns or issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standards related to MES usage.
Work with the Engineering team on SPC setup and maintenance.
Administer user access, security policies, and data integrity within the MES.
Assist with tool automation groups to use the MES API appropriately for their needs.
Develop scripts, DB SQL, and simple programs to assist in data retrieval and data feeding to various source/target systems.
Support production via the Helpdesk, assisting with production issues and MES training.
Qualifications:
Proven critical thinking skills.
Fluent in SQL.
Familiar with SPC functionality.
Familiarity with REST APIs using JSON payloads.
Good communication skills and interaction with a variety of individuals within the organization and the shop floor.
Strong team orientation.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Minimum Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science or a technical field.
3+ years of experience with implementing and supporting ERP and MES Systems.
Familiar with programming languages like C#, Python, VB.net, ASP.net are an added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
