Mill Engineer

Aim of the job: To assist Mill Manager to ensure compliance with all Company operating policies, procedures and standing instructions.
Main responsibilities and activities: To ensure all mill machines are well maintained for optimum operation of the processesSupervise subordinates to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installation of parts and machinesPrepare daily/monthly/yearly reports and ensure engineers log book is filled for proper shift handoverComply with all the quality standard practised in the millImplement preventive maintenance program for all plant and machineriesEnsure all standard operating procedures are followedEnsure prompt actions/troubleshooting is taken when processing losses exceed the standard and provide adequate explanation for any deviation from the limits.Ensure the ISO/MSPO matters complied up to the standard Requirements: Basic education and training: Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 2 to 3 years experiencePossess adequate leadership abilities to lead subordinatesAble to arrange manpower and assign tasks to subordinatesAble to prepare reports and paperwork related to mill operationsAble to perform immediate troubleshooting when necessary
