About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our construction team in Papar, Sabah.
This is a full-time position with Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company.
As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our mobile cranes on various construction sites.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate a variety of mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on assigned mobile crane equipment
Ensure all crane operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Work closely with the construction team to plan and coordinate crane lifts
Maintain detailed logs and records of crane activities and any issues encountered
Continuously update your knowledge and skills to adapt to new crane technologies and techniques
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Operator in the construction industry
Valid mobile crane operator's license and certification
Strong knowledge of crane operations, load charts, and safe lifting practices
Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety protocols
Ability to work collaboratively with the construction team and follow instructions
Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
