The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Examines desktop claims submitted by repairers & review all reports submitted by external adjusters to prevent claims leakages.
Provides quality (prompt & fair) claims services to meet customers' satisfaction.
Compliance of all claims processes, procedures, policies and guidelines as stipulated in the Claims Manual and / or Instruction.
Check and edit the assessment of panel adjusters to ensure its accuracy and identify gaps for corrective actions to be taken. & Attend meeting with external adjusters on technical assessment issues.
Assess and negotiate with repairers on costs of repair as and when deemed necessary and provide recommendation for approval/settlement.
Provide technical supports to claims handlers.
Handle disputes related to consistency, insufficient of repairs amount and poor workmanship. & Conduct ad hoc inspection and post repairs inspection at workshops.
Check and edit the survey report of third-party adjusters (TPPD and TPKFK claims).
Handle claims in such a way as to maintain the Company's reputation for high quality service and customers' satisfactions (speedy and fair dealings).
Maintain a high closure rate through prompt survey & submission of assessment reports.
Keep superiors or HOD informed on any deficiency on policy coverage and adverse claims trend so that corrective measures could be taken by the appropriate departments.
Perform any other duties / special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specification:
Diploma / Degree in Automotive Engineering or insurance related qualification.
With Basic Certificate in Loss Adjusting is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in Motor Adjuster, Claims is required.
Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Computer literate: proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint).#J-18808-Ljbffr
