Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Title: Seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for the Food & Beverage Industry in South West England
Introductory Paragraph:
We are currently seeking an experienced and multi-talented maintenance engineer to join our client's team in the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is running smoothly, minimizing downtime, reducing waste, and improving efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment
- Identifying potential faults or malfunctions before they occur
- Responding promptly to breakdowns with effective solutions
- Conducting repairs quickly while adhering to safety guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications/Requirements:
To qualify for this role you must have -
1) A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a manufacturing environment.
2) Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical fault finding skills
3) Knowledge of PLC systems such as Allen Bradley/Siemens/Mitsubishi etc.
4) Experience performing reactive/breakdown work under pressure without compromising quality standards.
Additional Qualities Preferred (not compulsory)
1. Time management - ability manage time effectively whilst prioritising tasks when required,
2. Analytical Skills - Ability analyse data from machine performance records identifying trends/issues early leading too efficient corrective actions thereby minimises production loss due down-time.
Rate:
The rate offered by our client is £35 per hour; however it may vary depending upon your expertise level demonstrated during Interview process.
