Our client, a leading company in their sector, is looking to appoint a National Account Manager to build and develop strong relationships with existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities and maximizing sales from these accounts.
Primary Objectives:Acting as an interface between the company and the customer and for establishing a high profile and strong commercial relationship with the existing client database.
Proactively promoting the company's range of products and services within the existing account database.
Providing regular, accurate forecasts of existing account development business and opportunities to the Head of Business Development.
Achievement of the existing accounts annual sales and margin targets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:Build, maintain and develop strong relationships with the existing client database.
Identify and deliver additional growth opportunities by promoting our client's complete range of products and services to existing key contacts and into identified new departments.
Responsible for the Account Development sales strategy/plan and plan to prospect into the existing accounts database.
Identify and prioritize key targets and sales opportunities within the existing accounts database and execute the customer engagement and business development plan.
Develop the appropriate schedule of activities required to help generate existing accounts, sales pipeline and close opportunities to achieve the annual sales and margin targets.
Maintain sales cycle from identification of existing accounts opportunities through to closing down business.
Maintain a high level of activity to attain a stretching set of goals and objectives.
Work closely with peers in Sales Support and Marketing to raise the awareness of the company's product and service capabilities within the existing accounts database.
Liaise with customers in preparing quotations and advising on pricing.
Provide regular pipeline, prospecting activity reports and report on the actions being taken to win incremental business from the existing accounts database.#J-18808-Ljbffr
