Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients in managing and troubleshooting network-related issues.
Your expertise in network infrastructure and problem-solving abilities will be essential in ensuring seamless communication and connectivity for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support for network-related inquiries and issues, via instant messaging software.
Monitor and analyze network traffic, performance metrics, and logs to identify potential bottlenecks and outages.
Resolve network performance issues, including latency, cache configuration, edge server performance, intermittent connectivity, DNS resolution, and HTTP/HTTPS requests.
Assist customers with the setup, configuration, and optimization of network services to improve the efficiency and performance of their website.
Provide guidance and best practices to clients on network security, performance optimization, and reliability.
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
There is shift work and the option to work from home.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
A minimum of 1-2 years of working experience is ideal.
However,fresh entrants are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing network-related issues, particularly in high-traffic environments.
Knowledge of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP), switching, routing protocols, and Linux command scripts.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple customer issues and priorities simultaneously.
Proficient in written and spoken English & Mandarin.
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, or similar experience are highly desirable.
