It is critical for the plant to supply on-specification chilled water and meet all customer cooling load demands.
Main Accountabilities
Mechanical Equipment Maintenance : Responsible for the maintenance of all plant equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, gas turbines, gas compressors, air compressors, vessels, valves, piping, customer equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
Organize, supervise, and execute maintenance activities to enhance equipment maintainability, reliability, and availability.
Troubleshooting and Equipment Reinstatement : Execute troubleshooting and reinstatement of equipment breakdowns.
Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Critical Spare Analysis, and Bad Actor Management exercises as required.
Project Involvement : Participate in project punch lists, final documentation, defect lists, and address all technical issues such as design, PTS compliance, and record-keeping.
Supervision and Guidance : Provide supervision to contractors, offer guidance, share knowledge, and coach peers and trainees.
Tools and Equipment Management : Ensure tools and equipment are in good order and maintain the tidiness of the workshop and workplace.
Support for Long-Term Plans : As required by management, support GDCP's long-term plans and growth strategy by planning, performing, executing, and completing tasks related to operations, maintenance, projects, HSSE, and general building maintenance.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Compliance : Enforce PETRONAS MCF and HSE rules and regulations.
Cooperate with superiors, peers, and other departments/sections.
Requirements
Qualification:
CertificateorDiploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
At leastthree (3) years of working experiencein a related field, preferably in a plant or large facility environment.
Experience in executing maintenance activities for mechanical equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, boilers, gas turbines, gas compressors, air compressors, vessels, valves, and piping.
Experience with large electrical chillers, steam absorption chillers, and direct-fired chillers (>500RT).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to interpret Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID).
Experience in organizing maintenance activities to minimize unplanned shutdowns.
Specific competencies are advantageous, including Boiler Driver Competency, Internal Combustion Engine Driver Competency, Vibration Certification, and Welding and Non-Destructive Testing Certification.#J-18808-Ljbffr
