JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management: Responsible for managing the product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Design & Development: Contribute significantly to the design and development process of new products or programs in SMT & final assembly (FA). Involvement in prototyping, testing, and refining the process of manufacturing.Innovation: Bring innovative ideas and solutions to the table, pushing the boundaries of technology and contributing to the company's competitive advantage.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that the product meets both technical and market requirements.Interdisciplinary Collaboration: To collaborate with professionals with various disciplines, such as electrical engineering, software development, and industrial design.Testing and Validation. Ensure the quality and reliability of the products, working very closely with quality assurance team to develop and implement testing protocols and manufacturing process control plan to ensure the product quality is met.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and emerging technologies to guide the development of cutting-edge products.Feasibility Studies: Participate in feasibility studies to access the technical and economic viability of new product ideas.Process Optimization: Work and focus on improving development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost & scrap reduction.Analyze the outcomes of the products/programs to identify lessons learned and implement improvements in future products/products.Stakeholder communication: Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, that includes internal and external personnel.Identifying and Mitigating Risks: Assess potential risks in the development process and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth product/program execution and implementation.Responsible for establishing and maintaining process documentation that includes Work Instruction (WI), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan, and Process Flow. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Degree in Engineering.Prefer a minimum of 3 years working experience in Electronic Manufacturing System (EMS). Knowledge in electronics components manufacturing and SMT/PCBA processes and equipment is an added advantage.Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent knowledge, or Lean Manufacturing experience. Ability to apply design of experiments (DOE) to study the relationship between multiple input variables.Ability to use MiniTab tool for data analysis, statistical and process improvement.Ability to produce process design documents and control system interlock and functional design specifications.Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
