RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and analyses electrical systems including HV, MV, and LV.
Perform feasibility studies and testing for new and upgrade existing designs.
Able to work independently to develop a new electrical design including calculations.
Involvement in design optimization and T&C process.
Provides detailed design including layout, schematic diagram, calculations, simulations, SOP, EOP, MOP, and T&C documents.
Monitor maintenance activities to the highest quality level of planification, preparation, execution, and reporting.
Perform and monitor the full reliability of the infrastructures with a focus on continuity of services, energy efficiency, and budgetary constraints.
Problem solver for all facilities-related problems including efficiency, monitoring, and heat exchangers.
Oversee and optimize Data Center operating efficiency including PUE, DCIE, corrective maintenance costs, and life cycle planning.
Oversee the planned preventive maintenance program and effectiveness measurement.
Provide technical support to all aspects of data center operations including the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mission-critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data center operation to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with all customer SLAs.
Capacity planning, asset management validation, and resource management.
Oversee onsite incident response, problem resolution, and change management processes to support client needs.
Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the formal change control process.
Oversee client-facing project deployment.
Ensure compliance with legislations on daily operations/engineering activities.
Build a trustworthy customer relationship within the operations team.
Support regular audit activities by implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Support sales on potential deals.
Manage vendors and contractors to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency (safety, cost, equipment lead time, and reliability) and maintain the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure per data center industrial best practices.
Implement, enforce, maintain, and control workflows and processes within the data center.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in electrical, mechanical, or technology-related fields.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
Independence with strong leadership and team player skills.
Experience in Data Center facilities operations and maintenance.
Data center project management and T&C hands-on experience.
Self-driven, positive attitude, and team player.
Experienced in Data Centre critical systems, including diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, HT/LT switchgear, power distribution equipment, chillers, computer room air handlers, fire detection/suppression, and building monitoring systems.
Familiar with data center required compliance ISO27001, PCIDSS, ISO50001, SS564, SOC1/2, local authorities, and industry best practices.
Experience with involvement in Data Center construction from greenfield/brownfield, Uptime TIER topology design, and project management.
At least 4 years of experience in relevant Facilities Management within Data Centers.
Operations certification or relevant Data Center professional training.
