Position: Operation General Manager  Company Industry: Retail Working Location:  Taman Midah, Cheras, 56000 Kuala Lumpur  Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm  Working duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY Salary: Range between RM10,000 to RM15,000 with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance Benefits: Staff discount, parking, allowance, increment/ bonus (depends on performance)  **Claimable phone bill up to RM150 JOB SUMMARY:  We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations General Manager to lead our operations team and support the Executive Directors (ED) in achieving operational excellence across all locations. This role will oversee daily counter & boutique operations, manage multi-unit teams, and drive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as neededPreferred 10 years of experience in a senior operational role within the retail industry, with a proven track record of managing multi-unit operations.Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive performance at multiple levels, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Strong understanding of financial management, including P&L analysis, cost control, and budget management.Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, with experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house management.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on achieving results.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in MS Office – Goldsoft/ Timesoft/ TimetechGood interpersonal and excellent communication skills both verbaland written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic planning, compliance management, and talent development, Support the ED in Strategic Execution: Act as the second-in-command to the ED, overseeing daily operations of all counter & boutique locations and implementing company-wide strategies.Operational Leadership: Lead and manage Area Managers across multiple locations to ensure consistent quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.Financial Oversight: Drive financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue growth to meet profitability targets.Customer Experience Enhancement: Elevate the customers experience by ensuring exceptional service standards and swiftly resolving any escalated customer issues.Compliance Management: Maintain full compliance with all safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations across all outlets.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the ED and/or senior management to develop and implement growth strategies and operational improvements.Talent Development: Mentor, train, and develop managerial staff to build a high-performing team culture and support their professional growth.
