#### Job Description:
Kossan Rubber Industries Berhad is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru. This role is pivotal in facilitating the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
#### Responsibilities:
- **Operational Coordination:** Support daily operational activities, including production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure smooth execution.
- **Data Analysis:** Gather, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Present findings to senior management and recommend solutions.
- **Quality Control:** Assist in monitoring production processes and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Process Improvement:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall productivity.
- **Inventory Management:** Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and work closely with procurement to manage stock and minimize waste.
- **Reporting:** Prepare regular operational reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- **Problem Resolution:** Actively troubleshoot problems as they arise in the production process, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective solutions.
- **Communication:** Maintain effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to streamline operations and address any operational challenges.
- **Training & Development:** Assist in training new team members and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the operations team.
#### Requirements:
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in operations or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and operational management software; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- **Personality Traits:** Must be confident and energetic, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges.
