### Job Description

Sime Darby Berhad is seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our remote team. ### Key Responsibilities

1. **Strategic Operations Management:**
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to meet business goals and ensure quality standards.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with overall company goals.

2. **Team Leadership and Development:**
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a remote team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing training solutions.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members to promote cooperation and engagement.

3. **Process Optimization:**
- Analyze current operational processes and identify inefficiencies; recommend and implement process enhancements.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that reflect best practices and compliance requirements.
- Drive initiatives for cost reduction and improve resource allocation.

4. **Project Management:**
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and completion within budget.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress and report on project status to stakeholders.
- Manage risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.

5. **Customer Relationship Management:**
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to improve customer satisfaction and address concerns effectively.
- Analyze customer feedback to identify trends and implement improvements in operations that enhance the customer experience.

6. **Reporting and Analytics:**
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, progress on strategic initiatives, and key metrics to senior management.
- Leverage data analysis to inform strategic decisions and operational adjustments.

### Requirements

**Educational Background:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is an advantage.

**Experience:**
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management or related field, with a track record of successful team leadership.
- Experience in a remote or hybrid work environment is preferred.

**Skills:**
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient with operational management software and tools, data analysis, and reporting packages.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent cooperation and team-building skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams remotely.
