Objectives of the PositionThe Asia Pacific Trading Center (APTC) creates a focal point to connect suppliers all around the globe to all Asian countries. It handles intra-company purchase orders and hence acts as a virtual trading organization providing a high degree of control over import / export supply chain activities for regional business units.
Main TasksDevelop team members' personal and technical skills to leverage overall team know-how and performance while ensuring work-life balance is kept.
Provide support to all team members in cases of exception handling and ensure efficient back-up plans for all order management related activities and tools.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization while ensuring a high level of customer focus.
Utilize system reports and KPIs to monitor and ensure compliance with global processes.
Minimize risk in documentary trade by ensuring proper review and execution of letters of credit.
Work closely with country CSO organizations and suppliers to ensure accuracy of order information throughout the entire process – from initial order entry to final delivery status.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all documents required in the process.
Work closely with all parties to continuously improve delivery reliability.
Provide proactive notification to concerned parties when situations change.
Manage the employee development process in setting target agreements, conducting performance reviews, and creating development plans.
Ensure effective engagement of self and team members and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.
RequirementsEducation: Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, supply chain management, logistics.
Working Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in SCM / Logistics area of which minimum 2 years of management, supervisory or team lead experience within supply chain environment.
Technical & Professional Knowledge: Supply Chain Management / process knowledge, strong SAP (SD module) experience, operational order management, foreign documentary trade, analytical thinking, leading with key performance indicators, good communication skills.
