You will closely work with these hotel partners to:Optimize rate and availability competitiveness on the Expedia platform to increase customer conversion.Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers' pressing needs.Coordinate with other account management teams to secure an aligned and effective level of competitiveness across high-demand Asia Pacific markets.Educate hotel partners on the self-service features available on Expedia Partner Central.Re-establish core fundamentals to re-engage with dormant hotel partners.Take time to shop our sites as a traveler would to identify issues that may not have been identified by our automated shopping tools.Experience and qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or Equivalent related professional experience.Native proficiency in Japanese.Business-level proficiency in English.1-3 years of experience in hotel sales/revenue management, account management, inside sales or business development preferred.Able to work independently as well as be a strong team worker.Demonstrate ability to work based on a variety of targets, goals and/or strategic objectives set by the leadership team.Appetite for innovative technology and robust data driven analysis.Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively; actively listens.Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels.Ability to handle objection, secure commitments and be resilient.Possesses outstanding listening, investigating and influencing skills.Hungry, determined, motivated, willing to take action and results-focused.Organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details.Proven follow-up/persistence when facing challenging situations.Ability to multi-task effectively and change gears quickly.Ability to perform under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.Open to feedback for continuous improvement.Relationship builder; earns the confidence of others.Bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual support.Accommodation requestsIf you need assistance with any part of the application or recruiting process due to a disability, or other physical or mental health conditions, please reach out to our Recruiting Accommodations Team.Expedia is committed to creating an inclusive work environment with a diverse workforce.
