This role requires high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of payment operations.
The Payment Operations Specialist ensures the smooth and efficient execution of all payment transactions while adhering to the company's processes and compliance requirements.
  Responsibilities : Process Payments : Execute timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other payment methods used in the company Reconciliation : Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner Compliance : Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations.
Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks V endor Management : Liaise with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and resolve payment-related issues Reporting : Generate regular reports on payment activities, including transaction volumes, processing times, and error rates.
Analyse trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency Process Improvemen t: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance automation with technology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades Customer Support : Provide solutions to customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and resolution.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Prior experience in payment operations within the Forex/Trading industry or financial services sector Strong understanding of payment systems, including SWIFT, IBAN, and other international payment protocols Proficiency in using financial software and tools for payment processing and reconciliation Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as AML and PSP Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.
