In this role, you will be a strategic partner, driving HR initiatives that deliver value-added services and reflect our organization's goals.
What You Will Do: - Strategic Alignment: Dive into our organization's top priorities and be a key player in business meetings, ensuring our HR initiatives align perfectly with our business objectives.
- Organizational Design: Take the lead in advising on new structures, roles, and skills necessary to support our evolving business needs, working closely with key leaders and stakeholders.
- Change Management: Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence (COE) to craft and implement change management plans, ensuring smooth transitions and successful adoption throughout the organization.
- HR Strategy Development: Partner with the COE to create HR strategies and plans that drive business success, focusing on talent management, learning, and culture.
- Workforce and Succession Planning: Provide strategic insights and guidance on workforce planning and succession strategies, ensuring our organizational structure supports our long-term goals.
- Data Analysis and Metrics: Analyze and interpret organizational data, generating actionable metrics that inform HR recommendations for our leadership team.
- Talent Management: Develop and roll out talent management programs, including talent reviews and succession planning, to enhance our business operations and employee development.
- Learning and Development: Identify learning opportunities and create training programs that elevate employee skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Financial and Business Acumen: Gain a deep understanding of our financial metrics, business plans, and stakeholder expectations to effectively support our HR initiatives.
- Employee Relations and Performance Management: Be the go-to resource for resolving employee relations and performance issues, providing coaching and guidance to improve workplace relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
- HR Program Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate HR programs in partnership with internal HR teams, ensuring seamless implementation of initiatives like talent management and compensation reviews.
- Market Trends and Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring market trends and competitive developments, providing informed HR recommendations to keep us competitive.
- Cultural Development: Drive initiatives that enhance our organizational culture, promoting engagement and aligning our cultural practices with business objectives.
What You Need to Have: - Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience as an HR business partner, with strong HR consulting skills to back it up.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities that allow you to build strong relationships and effectively convey ideas.
- The ability to consult, influence, and build credibility with leaders, dissect problems, and identify root causes of organizational issues.
- A keen understanding of relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies, with the ability to apply them appropriately.
- A thorough grasp of our organizational hierarchy, job roles, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative procedures.
- Proven ability to manage your time effectively, meeting deadlines and juggling multiple priorities with ease.
Education and Experience: - A minimum of 8 years of experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.
- A comprehensive understanding of various HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Preferred Background: Experience working in an HR consulting firm, providing advisory services to diverse clients and industries. This background will be highly valued as it demonstrates your ability to manage complex HR challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
