Job ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes, controls and executes a production schedule for a designated product.
Develops production schedules based on actual and forecasted customer demand, product demand profiles and knowledge of the customer;
Analyses inputs (e.g., capacity, board cycle times, urgency of request, material availability, etc.)
to help determine schedule;
Analyses internal impact (e.g., line scheduling, procurement, logistics, shipping, etc.)
of customer scheduling and provide shipment plan to customer;
Revises plans as required based on analysis of actuals versus plan/ customer demand fluctuation, priority changed/ad hoc material situation;
Participate and provide input in capacity planning;
Coordinates shop order releases and materials kitting requirements;
Identifies parts shortages and works with appropriate people to expedite material/ kitting;
Keep track of production output and pack plan;
Arrange and track shipments according to commit date to customer and identify potential issues/problems and work on solutions;
Coordinate & follow up with various departments e.g., production, SCM, engineering, quality, shipping etc.
to resolve operation issues & to ensure production schedule & shipment commitment is met;
Able to drive production and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency are met;
Able to communicate with the customer when there should be any issues pertaining to shipment and planning;
Minimum the candidate must be able to deal with customers and handle escalation matters;
Able to handle work stress due to high customer demands.
Job RequirementsAt least a Degree in any related field;
At least 3 years of experience in the related field;
Preferably those with SAP or MRP experience & knowledge;
Good planning & communication skills;
Preferred skills: Microsoft Excel & Word;
Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
