Description
Drive Cost Improvements: Continuously identify, present, and prioritize cost-saving opportunities within the factory.
Validate projects, monitor progress, and ensure completion to realize targeted savings.
Analyze Cost Drivers: Develop a deep understanding of key factory cost drivers, factory variances, and insights from GLOBE/SAP reports to effectively prioritize improvement initiatives.
Accurate Cost Reporting: Oversee the timely and accurate reporting of actual costs for Period-End Close (PEC), ensuring compliance with internal and external financial policies, Accounting Standards, and Costing Standards.
Provide early warnings to stakeholders regarding significant cost deviations at the department or SKU level.
Business Planning Support: Lead coordination and preparation of input assumptions for the Annual Cost Estimate (ACE) and Dynamic Forecast (DF).
Evaluate the impact of volume changes, product mix, and NPD on factory performance and forecasts.
Capital Investment Evaluation: Develop, manage, and ensure rigorous assessments of capital investment plans and requests to support strategic decisions.
Ensure Cost Transparency: Provide clear and comprehensive insights into costs and financial implications of significant factory decisions to support informed organizational decision-making.
Benchmarking Performance: Facilitate internal and external benchmarking of factory performance and product costs to identify areas for improvement and maintain competitiveness.
Profile
Degree in Finance and Accounting
Preferably someone with CIMA qualification
Strong controlling and costing experience
Having prior supply chain experience will be an added advantage
Good communication and stakeholder management experience
