Job Description:
Celcom Axiata Berhad is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home. As an Associate Level PR professional with at least 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and executing public relations campaigns, building relationships with media outlets, and creating compelling content to promote our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness
- Write press releases, articles, and other content for media distribution
- Pitch stories to journalists and secure media coverage
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for management
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Assist in organizing events, press conferences, and other PR activities
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public relations or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful and resilient with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in project management and presentation skills
- Experience working with media outlets and journalists
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
