Practical Trainee - Warehouse Associate InternshipWe are currently seeking driven and motivated interns to join our team and gain valuable experience in the field of warehousing and logistics.
As an intern, you will have the opportunity:
To work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in your chosen field.
To work alongside a team of experienced professionals who will guide and mentor you throughout your internship, providing you with the skills and knowledge you need.
About the role:
Carry out assigned tasks as per operation process using tools and equipment provided as trained and deliver department KPI.
Check PED/Loader/scanner/Hand jack/equipment/tools prior to use to ensure it is in working condition and safe to use.
Collect supplier documentation and receiving labels.
Manage stocks, empty pallets/roller cages/baskets/bins correctly.
Carry out dekit process correctly and ensure accuracy of the count.
Understand backhaul process and unloading process including receiving and verification of the correct paperwork associated with it and carry out the task to the required standard accordingly.
Check, weigh or count stocks and escalate any discrepancies or damage found to line manager.
Confirm correct stock with right quantity received and scan label according to instruction.
Understand the information on the Arm Mounted Terminal (AMT) / Scanner and Unit of Delivery Label (UOD).
Identify the different product groups/range and layout and to move products on the system.
Know department KPI and be responsible for department productivity.
Store stock or goods at designated location or rack in the warehouse.
Understand the process for returning goods to suppliers and follow the process accordingly.
Understand receiving, assembly/dispatch process and carry out the task accordingly.
Manage loading bays as per the required standards.
Check Bay number and Trailer Number to ensure correct goods are sent to the correct store.
Scan the label and load stock into vehicles.
Condense same store items and wrap tightly to avoid damage of the items/goods.
Understand store priorities and carry out tasks accordingly.
Take necessary actions as required to ensure and maintain the security of the load.
Ensure accuracy of the seals and check load is secure before sealing.
Ensure correct goods and correct quantity are sent to the correct store.
Observe and comply at all times to company policy, rules and procedures regarding safety, work ethic, and behavior.#J-18808-Ljbffr
