Department OverviewThe Bid & Quote Analyst will work closely with the Motorola Australia Sales Account teams, Professional Services, General Managers and Finance.
Job DescriptionPreparation of Bid P & Ls for proposals, tenders and contractsMaintain product cost databasesUpdate and maintain Price lists and ensure they are accurate and issued on a timely basisEnsure compliance with approval and authorization policies.Participate in and lead the bid scrubs process and documenting all approvalsEnsure that pricing and gross margin information is kept confidential and distributed only in accordance with policyComply with Motorola Quality policies and practices.Basic RequirementsGENERAL EDUCATION:
Must have:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Business related degree
Desirable:Member of a recognized professional accounting body
EXPERIENCE:
Analyst or accounting/finance experience, multinational experience in a corporate accounting environment (3 years +)Highly computer literate - particularly spreadsheets.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Good communications skills both written and verbal to explain complex information to all levels of staff and CustomersSound planning capability and personal organisation skillsCapable of working through commercial issues and recommend course of actionWell developed interpersonal, teamwork and conflict resolution skillsSelf motivatedTravel RequirementsUnder 10%
