Our Client:
We are partnering with a European MNC that specializes in surface treatments and precision engineering components.
The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Process Manager (Surface Treatment) as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
Lead the process team in designing processes and preparing documentation for FA and new products (including PCPF Sample, FA samples, and qualification packages).
Drive quality improvements in mass production through troubleshooting, design, DOE, and process optimization.
Provide root cause analysis and effective solutions for quality issues raised by customers related to process complaints.
Manage and control processes by training and guiding production and process teams on process control, while leading continuous process improvement.
Participate in customer audits for process and product qualification, organizing process controls and following up on audit findings.
Lead and manage new projects focused on quality improvements and innovations in the plating process.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, 5S practices, company policies, and environmental regulations within the process team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electrical).
Minimum 5 years of experience in process management, preferably in the plating or manufacturing sector.
Strong knowledge of plating processes and quality control standards.
Experience in troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., DOE, Six Sigma).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in audit management and process qualification.
In-depth knowledge of safety, company policies, and environmental regulations.
