Procurement Assistant/Specialist (Puchong)

Take the first step toward a long and rewarding career by becoming one of our team.**Responsibilities**:- To liaise with suppliers regarding updates and details of goods.- Manage suppliers on quality issues and co-ordinate changes in material specification.- Negotiate for advantageous terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc. to achieve and exceed cost-saving and margin improvement targets.- Responsible to comparing the pricing from prospective suppliers, suggest and select the most cost-saving suppliers.- Conduct supplier audit, drive supplier performance, develop and manage supplier agreements to achieve win-win situation between suppliers and company.- To continually source, select sufficient and reliable suppliers for present and known future requirement.- Oversee and ensure that all invoices are correctly matched to PO and DO.- Oversee and all invoices are approved by the relevant person and passed to accounts in a timely manner.- Responsible for the preparation and process purchase order and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required by the management from time to time.**Job Requirements**:- At least **1-2 years **working experience with procurement.- Strong computer skills required, to include Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Excel, MS Access.- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.- Independent, analytical and a persuasive negotiator.- Good communication skills.- **Posses own transport** and willing to work at **Bandar Puteri Puchong** or **Taman Perindustrian Putra, Puchong****Why Join Us**:- We give out performance **bonus yearly**.- **Staff purchase with discounted rates**, given to those who wish to purchase company products.- Company-wide **annual dinners** will be held every year, as employee recognition award celebrations.- You will have plenty of **opportunity to grow** as a pioneer in our industry.- We practice a **vibrant & energetic** office culture.**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- Yearly bonusApplication Question(s):- How long is your notice period?- Do you have own transport?- How much is your expected salary?**Experience**:- Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
