Responsibilities: Oversee daily transactions using SAP tools for procurement of commodities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to policies and regulations.
Cultivate ethical and mutually beneficial relationships with accredited vendors, maintaining a reliable vendor list for all bids.
Develop alternate supply sources, implement procurement strategies for optimal profitability, and establish longer-term alliances with key vendors.
Review contract awards, negotiate with vendors, and conduct vendor performance evaluations.
Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while adhering to controls and procurement policies.
Act as a liaison between the company and vendors, resolving inquiries and providing procurement support to business units.
Steward value generation, execute positive supplier relationship management, and support strategic implementations, especially for fast-track executions.
Lead coordination with the Tax team for duty/tax exemptions on imported materials.
Act as Project Lead for Supply Chain Management coordination with Project teams.
Monitor Total Cost of Ownership practices, reinforce benchmarking, and ensure supplier performance.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or engineering with CGPA above 3.00.
Possesses 3-5 years working experience in Procurement with contracting knowledge or related supply chain functions.
Candidates with a certified procurement and/or supply chain accreditation is highly preferred.
Having knowledge in Purchase-to-Pay process will be an added advantage.
Must have strong negotiation and communication skills and able to write convincingly.
