is seeking a driven and organised Procurement Executive to join their team in Ipoh, Perak.
This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials, components and services required for the company's manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing
Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to identify the best options in terms of quality, cost and delivery times
Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to achieve the most favourable terms
Managing the purchasing process from requisition to payment, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting on stock levels and procurement activities
Identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and implement cost-saving measures
Collaborating cross-functionally with production, logistics and finance teams to align procurement with business needs
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics sectors
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to identify and secure the best deals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in data analysis and the use of procurement software or ERP systems
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think strategically
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
