Summary The Procurement Manager is responsible for growing the client's supply capacity to meet revenue demand through effective supplier development and performance management.
This role oversees the supply chain's quality, cost, and efficiency while leading the Procurement and Logistics Department to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
The manager will drive supplier improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and manage logistics efficiency.
Job Responsibilities Supplier Development and Management Develop and expand existing and new suppliers to meet revenue and capacity demands.
Select, audit, and qualify new suppliers, adhering to recruitment processes and policies.
Appraise supplier performance in machining capability, production planning, quality, and delivery through periodic audits and on-site visits.
Implement Supplier Development Programs to improve supplier quality and delivery performance.
Supply Chain Performance and Reporting Monitor and manage supplier job assignments and weekly capacity planning.
Issue Monthly Supplier Performance Reports, discuss improvement actions, and align on capacity planning.
Collaborate with Engineering to establish target pricing and enhance supplier production efficiency.
Logistics and Cost Management Optimize logistics operations, manage shipment issues, and implement cost-saving initiatives with shipping vendors.
Drive annual cost reductions in logistics while maintaining efficiency and reliability Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement Lead and manage the Procurement and Logistics team to achieve departmental KPIs.
Resolve supplier quality issues (DMR) in coordination with the Quality Control Department.
Streamline internal supply chain management systems and prepare for ISO certification.
Job Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably manufacturing. Minimum 2 3 years of managerial experience in similar position.
Proven track record in supplier development and logistics optimization.
Familiarity with ISO standards and certification processes.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Expertise in supplier development, auditing, and performance management.
Proficiency in logistics operations and cost-saving strategies.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for handling quality and supply chain challenges.
Strategic thinking to align procurement goals with company objectives.
