Analyze and compare supplier quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand farm requirements and ensure procurement aligns with farm schedules.
Manage the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies relevant to transmission and distribution.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Prepare and maintain procurement reports, documentation, and invoices.
Verify Purchase Requisition Forms and purchase invoices.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services with minimal disruption to farm operations.
REQUIREMENTS
A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in a purchasing environment.
Ability to provide solutions and analyze day-to-day purchasing order trends.
Good networking skills with suppliers.
Must be able to move around within the Kuching vicinity.
