About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic Procurement & Planning Coordinator to join our manufacturing team.
This dual-focused role requires strong coordination between procurement and production planning activities, reporting to both Purchasing and Production Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
Develop and manage monthly production schedules independently
Coordinate with Production Manager to optimize production efficiency
Maintain dynamic scheduling to accommodate changes in demand and material availability
Procurement:
Manage relationships and purchases with existing suppliers
Create and analyze price forecasts and trending reports
Source new suppliers and materials through market research
Negotiate prices and terms with both existing and new suppliers
Coordinate with Quality departments for supplier documentation and assessments
Core Activities:
Balance production scheduling with material availability and lead times
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
Generate regular reports for both Purchasing and Production managers
Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure alignment between purchasing and production needs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) - essential for supplier communication
Strong organizational and time management skills
Analytical mindset with ability to create and interpret forecasting reports
Problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in sourcing
Experience in production planning or scheduling preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience Level:Entry to mid-level experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain roles
