Job Description In your new role you will: Service Delivery: Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with established service levels and KPIs.
Quotation Processes: Drive the quotation process by defining evaluation criteria, identifying and selecting suppliers, executing the evaluation process, and refining and validating sourcing and purchasing options.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage buy-in from key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the procurement process.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present reports to management, analyzing metrics and projection results to inform decision-making.
Time Management: Demonstrate a sense of urgency and deliver tasks on time, even under tight deadlines.
Process Optimization: Apply and optimize procurement processes, automating where feasible, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Performance Tracking: Report on measurable activities against planned targets on a monthly/quarterly basis to track progress and performance.
Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate effectively with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including process owners and partner functions such as IT, ACT, and BC, to deliver best-in-class service.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary working groups and project work to gather insights, influence outcomes, and enhance internal processes and procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements and develop tools aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function.
Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in utilizing procurement software and tools, including SAP and Excel, to streamline purchasing processes, process improvement and data management.
Preference given to candidates who can communicate effectively in Chinese and Japanese.
