Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
This role is responsible for managing roaming wholesale negotiation (both inbound and outbound traffic) to enable cost-effectiveness and service quality. Key performance measurements are progressive to achieve YoY net improvement and maintain a healthy retail margin.
What are you accountable for?
Develop and execute strategies for wholesale roaming to ensure the long-term sustainability of retail business based on the development of the domestic and international market environment (e.g., device and technological trends, global operator trends, usage behavioural changes, etc.).
Increase inbound roaming market share and revenue by analysing the traffic balance and negotiating the best discount model that maximizes inbound revenue and lowers outbound costs.
Manage the business relationship with Bridge Alliance, STC International, and other roaming partners, including key group operators such as Vodafone, O2, etc. Diplomatically resolve any conflicts arising from either party.
Ensure commercial commitments on preferential roaming are met based on biz case objectives through daily analysis of traffic volumes & subscriber trends.
Oversee the steering performance to ensure our cost is at the optimal level.
Ensure the end-to-end roaming wholesale process is error-free and on time.
What do you need to have for this role?
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Admin, Sales & Marketing
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications, focusing on international roaming and wholesale.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and management with international telecom operators.
Possesses business acumen, strategic planning, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, diplomacy, and a good understanding of financials.
