KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with company objectives. Create a strategic roadmap to guide product development and enhancements.
Market Understanding: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities. Understand the competitive landscape and adapt the product to suit the Malaysian market.
Go-To-Market Execution: Plan and execute go-to-market strategies that effectively position the platform for success in both B2B and B2C segments. Define clear value propositions, messaging, and launch plans.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure the product meets market demands and delivers a superior user experience.
Product Definition & Requirements: Translate market insights into detailed product requirements. Prioritize features and enhancements based on impact, customer feedback, and business goals.
Performance Measurement: Monitor product performance using analytics and customer feedback. Continuously refine and improve the product to meet evolving market needs.
Cultural Relevance: Utilize your knowledge of Malaysian culture and consumer behavior to create products that resonate locally, ensuring a culturally sensitive and appealing service offering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably with platforms similar to Urban Company or in the service/technology industry.
Strong management background with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product strategy.
In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian market, including cultural nuances and consumer behavior.
Fluent in the Malaysian language, with strong communication skills to engage effectively with local stakeholders and customers.
Experience in defining and executing go-to-market strategies, especially for platforms that cater to both B2B and B2C customers.
Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
