Product Owner – Information Channels (Customer Interactions)
Join Swift in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a Product Owner in the Information Channels squad. You'll work within the CI Tribe, a 130+ people organization across La Hulpe, Belgium, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The CI Tribe builds and supports tools for Swift and our customers, including websites, order fulfillment applications, support tools, the Swift event platform, self-service, and customer master data solutions.In this dynamic environment, you'll improve our Digital Experience Platform (DXP) and align it with Swift's goals, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Your role:As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving our Tribe's transformation into a value-driven organization. You will be responsible for aligning product development with our strategic goals while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and championing Agile practices.Key Responsibilities:Managing the product:Develop product vision/product roadmap and synchronize it with the Tribe Lead, Business Lead and your peer Product Owners.You are service and value minded.You think big (but you also appreciate small improvements).Act as owner of technical escalation toward the vendors.Act as owner of product escalation from the business.Act as an ambassador of your squad towards the internal stakeholders.Interact and collaborate with customers of the squad to understand their needs related to the products/solutions provided by the squad.Define commercial and technical product specification, including performance/compliance/security requirements.Define functional and non-functional product requirements; ensure they are complete, integral and consistent; the sole source of requirements for the squad.Ensure the product adheres to the highest quality standards, including releasing security patches.Have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, automation, and operational excellence.Setting targets and work priorities:Build the squad backlog in terms of user stories, prioritize its items to achieve business goals, and continuously keep the backlog up to date.Participate in planning, squad & product backlog refinement meetings.Together with the other POs of the Community Hub, maintain good contact with success management of the vendors and liaise with them to keep up to date with new capabilities and product roadmaps.If needed, scope a minimum viable product (MVP) for new capabilities, taking into account existing resource constraints and sustained development of the product.Take the lead for your squad and participate in the preparation for the quarterly held tribe ceremonies: Quarterly Business Review, Big Room Planning and Objective and Key Result definition to reaffirm priorities and clarify the requirements.Interact with other squads of the Community area as part of squad synchronization ceremonies to implement cross-squad tasks and activities, with a focus on standardization.Innovate and connect the dots: challenge the status quo, and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions.Participate in squad development:Monitor overall squad performance on a daily basis in collaboration with the agile coach.Define the set of necessary competencies in the squad, in cooperation with the chapter leads.Support chapter leads in determining the resource allocation.Provide regular feedback on squad members' performance.Participate in hub development:Co-develop common Hub vision, roadmap and OKRs and socialize those across other Hubs.Develop, document (written culture) and share Product visions with the Leadership team.Help identify synergies and opportunities between Hub squads and Chapters supporting the Hub.Define meaningful metrics as a Hub to help drive your roadmap and provide insights on our customers.Manage the Hub investments as a program with regular interactions with your stakeholders.Skills:Master's degree or MBA, or equivalent experience.Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar.Experience in the financial industry.Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management tools.Strong ability to promote innovation and engage in critical thinking.The salary range for this role is competitive and will vary based on factors like skills, experience, and location.
