Job Description As a Product Portfolio Specialist at NEXTDC, you are essential for supporting the Product team in developing and managing the product portfolio.
This role connects customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure products are competitive and innovative. Key responsibilities include: Market Intelligence: Analysing market data to guide product strategy. Stakeholder Engagement : Facilitating communication among stakeholders for product improvements. Product Lifecycle Management: Supporting all phases from ideation to launch and ongoing optimisation, including managing documentation. Data-Driven Analysis: Conducting performance and market trend analysis to inform product strategies and create business cases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with various departments to ensure smooth product development and management. In this role, you will be: Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting for products. Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to drive product improvements. Create and implement product release plans with cross-functional teams. Analyse product performance and prepare regular reports for management. Develop and maintain product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and positioning. Coordinate product training sessions for internal teams. Create and manage comprehensive product documentation. Collaborate with various departments to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with policies. Qualifications Your proven experience will see you bringing: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and business cases. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Familiarity with product management methodologies and project management tools. Proficiency in document creation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Hubspot). Experience with online tools like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Office365. What you bring: 2-3 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role. Demonstrated experience in market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer feedback. Familiarity with product launch processes, go-to-market strategies, and product lifecycle management. Experience in creating business cases, financial models, and strategic documents. Experience in developing technical documentation, user guides, or marketing materials is highly desirable.
