Responsibilities:
Responsible for customer's requests and enquiries on product documentation and samples preparation, including generating, maintaining, and updating technical product literature for finished products, such as information sheets, product specifications, Safety Data Sheets, and related documentation for internal and customer use.
Provide regulatory support to internal and external customers. Coordinate with HQ regulatory division, especially related to EU regulation and CODEX.
Prepare information related to regulation and periodically monitor updates to food regulations in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia.
Coordinate and facilitate communication between the company and regulatory agencies if necessary.
Support maintaining customer request management system's functionality.
Implement safety requirements in line with safety regulations and company policies.
As a member of the Food Safety Team, coordinate and improve food safety issues. Report any detected quality or food safety issues and participate in resolving them.
Carry out lab work when required (chemical and physical properties).
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Personal Attributes:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fluency in English; solid command of Malay is an advantage.

Analytical skills to interpret and apply complex regulations.

Educational and Professional Background:
Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry; experience with baking, flour, and vitamin industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of international food safety standards such as Codex Alimentarius, FSMA, etc.
Familiarity with food regulations in Asia.
Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities in Asia.
