Key Responsibilities:
Continuously improve the quality of the Production Plans and the efficiency with which they are produced.
Ensure continuing alignment with business priorities, strategic initiatives and activities, support and drive to meet KPI (Order fulfillment, on time delivery, manufacturing lead time, and inventory management).
Obtain output information, prepare, and submit status and performance reports.
Review, monitor and report the factory capacity plan based on a provided forecast and new business opportunities.
Review with production and relevant parties to identify and resolve production bottleneck and/or processing problems.
Work closely with the production team in analyzing, planning, scheduling, and optimizing the utilization of facilities, equipment, raw materials, work processes and manpower planning to improve the efficiency of production operations.
Coordinate with purchasing in the planning and procurement of raw materials, equipment, tooling, purchased parts, supplies and services as required to execute the master schedule.
Manage WIP and Raw Material Inventory levels and accuracy and report on the inventory metrics.
Work with the sales team for demand planning to ensure supply is not disrupted.
Manage the relationship and the effective flow of information between the Planning function and internal business partners such as Production, Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement & Sales & Marketing.
To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Degree in any field.
Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent will be added advantages.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be result-oriented and self-driven.
High sense of urgency and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record in achieving production KPI targets is required.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Analytical, being able to manipulate and interpret data in insightful ways.
Strong team building, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse cultures and regional/global colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
Able to speak & read Mandarin, English, and Malay.
Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
Possess own transport.
