We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Production and Kitchen Intern to join our team for a 3-6 month internship. Whether you have a passion for cooking or want to explore the operational side of food production, this internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.Food Preparation-Assist with basic prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables.-Wash and clean fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients as required.-Weigh and measure ingredients under the supervision of chefs.Production Backend Management-Support production operations by managing and updating backend systems, including data entry and inventory tracking.-Use a computer to input data accurately and help ensure seamless kitchen operations.Stocking and Storing-Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients properly.-Stock shelves and refrigerators efficiently, following the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.Assisting Chefs and Kitchen Staff-Support chefs by fetching ingredients, utensils, and equipment as needed.-Transport supplies and equipment between different areas of the kitchen.Health and Safety Compliance-Follow hygiene and food safety protocols, including proper food handling practices.-Adhere to safety standards when handling hot equipment or sharp tools.General Kitchen Support-Assist with unloading and storing deliveries.-Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils by hand or using a dishwasher.-Help maintain cleanliness by mopping floors, wiping counters, and managing waste disposal.-Complete additional tasks assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
