Production Clerk is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in daily production schedule adherence and promoting safe and healthy production environment practices.
Record and coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments, examine orders for goods, and prepare production schedules.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Examines orders and compiles data for production schedules
Checks inventories and prepares delivery schedules
Examines containers to ensure that they are filled, and records quantities
Investigates and identifies supply sources and prepares and processes purchase orders
Counts incoming stock and reconciles it with requisitions, and updates inventory and stock location records
Ensure all materials, supplies and tools required for the day's activities are available to the Associates
Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures in a consistent manner in all workstations, equipment and manufacturing stages
Provide safety equipment to associates and monitor for use
Report unsafe conditions or acts to the Supervisor, as well as problems with equipment and/or materials
DHR's maintain fill and closure report
DHR's audit to deliver quality
Review of stock of expandable materials
Material to be released report (status)
Follow-up to MTRs
Support and/or participation in activities related to improvement projects
Checks and makes sure staff abides by the dress code and PPE
Receive, train and certify new direct operator staff (Induction course support)
Any reasonable task assigned by Superior from time to time
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
SPM with 1 year working experience in manufacturing
Basic computer literacy
Basic English literacy
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Office knowledge
MRP & Agile management knowledge
Experience in electronic manufacturing
Holding SPM or Sijil Kemahiran would be advantageous
Education:
Professional Certificate or SPM
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
This position works primarily in an office environment.
It requires sitting, standing, and walking frequently.
Daily use of computer and other digital devices is required.
You could be on your feet for extended periods during meetings or while walking around the premises.
