Job Responsibilities
Improves manufacturing efficiency by studying and planning an effective production flow, availability of space and layout.
Conduct trainings for Production Operators to ensure production efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and ensure the production schedule is performed effectively.
Identify unsafe operations and practices and report immediately to Top Management.
Develop communication levels and practices among Production Operators to ensure effectiveness.
Identify and investigate production problems, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Collect, analyze, and summarize information for Management on production activities.
Continuously review production documents for improvement and convert new recipes from R&D into new formats.
Plot a rough monthly production schedule based on sales analysis obtained from the Account Department.
Discuss daily production schedule drafts prepared based on the monthly schedule for any necessary adjustments.
Monitor finished goods movement and keep track of slow-moving items.
Supervise and coordinate with Production Operators for tracking raw materials to assist the Production Manager in managing raw material stock.
Calculate total ingredients required for the week to meet production targets and submit to the Production Manager.
Oversee and monitor the entire production process and advise for adjustments to schedules as needed to meet customer demands.
Liaise with R&D, accounts, and warehouse to ensure production runs smoothly.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Food/Beverage Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years or more work experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
Ability to work and assist a team of Production Operators.
Possess knowledge of implementing and maintaining high GMP/HACCP standards.
Ability to assist the superior or manager in production analysis data and reports.
Ability to communicate with all levels of Management.
Ability to assist the Production Manager in executing each Production Operator's responsibilities.
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required.
Ability to work on a shift basis based on the Production Department working schedule.
