Fuji Bakery Supplies (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of high-quality bakery equipment and supplies, is seeking a talented Production Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of their production facilities in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
This is a full-time permanent position that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's products meet the highest standards of quality and productivity.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee all aspects of the production processes, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of production teams.
Ensure production targets are met by monitoring and optimizing workflow, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain strict quality control measures to uphold the company's commitment to excellence, including regular inspections and testing of finished products.
Manage and develop the production team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and sales, to align production plans with business objectives.
Maintain detailed production records and generate reports to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage inventory control and optimize the use of raw materials to reduce waste.
What we're looking for
Minimum 8 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to optimize production efficiency.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on continuous improvement and employee development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or industrial management.
