With a strong workforce of 400 employees and business growth through our recent acquisition with nationwide presence, this will provide an exciting experience and journey with the opportunity that is unique yet challenging to gauge the integration and synergy processes that will change the entire competition landscape in Malaysia.About The Business LineLocation:How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?The Production Operator supports onsite operations at client premises, ensuring compliance with Air Liquide's Industrial and Quality Management Systems and local regulations.
Responsibilities include safely operating carrier gas plants and bulk systems, monitoring daily process and utility operations, and assisting with plant improvement and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while preserving the environment, especially for offsite facilities.Operate and maintain carrier gas systems and bulk delivery equipment at client sites according to procedures and instructions.Perform daily rounds to record readings, complete safety inspections, monitor online gas and chemical systems, and handle gas cylinder/pallet/trailer and chemical IBC/tanker changes.Report shift activities, events, and observations, including any operational issues.Monitor work areas for warning signals and take corrective actions to address potential malfunctions.Monitor online systems for gas and chemical production and report deviations or anomalies to the supervisor.Carry out routine operations such as filter or pump switch overs, equipment start-ups, and shutdowns.Operate backup systems and manage facility start-ups and shutdowns as required.Ensure specific operations like plant deriming and FEP regeneration are performed safely (with appropriate qualifications).Coordinate with customer operating teams, network coordinators, and neighboring production facilities to ensure smooth operations.Adhere to all quality, safety, and environmental standards, preventing non-conformities in site processes.Follow HSE procedures, including the use of PPE, forklift operations, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and working at heights.Respond appropriately to chemical spills, gas leaks, emergencies, and material handling while maintaining segregation of materials.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, operational standards, and customer expectations.Actively participate in Air Liquide and customer programs, including safety training, operational improvement initiatives, and maintenance activities.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related industry or field.Diploma in any engineering discipline.Basic understanding of safety protocols and requirements.Foundational knowledge of industrial gas process operations is advantageous.Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards learning.Ability to work under 12 Hour Shift.Why Join Us?Air Liquide strives to offer its employees a total rewards package that contributes to a positive work environment and supports the well-being of all our employees and team members.
