JR71221 Production PlannerAs a Manufacturing Planner, you will develop and refine business processes to facilitate efficient operations and collaborate with the Micron network to ensure flawless transitions of products and data.
In this position, you will enable system-level processes within the Total Productive Management (TPM) framework, focusing on quality, waste reduction, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and cost-reduction.
You will also need to demonstrate an eagerness to develop, innovate, and integrate system-level solutions!
Responsibilities:Monitor materials inventories, supervise progress of production, and review factors affecting schedules.
Communicate production schedules to the manufacturing team.
Identify and communicate capacity constraints.
Initiate corrective actions to recurring root causes causing missed schedules.
Find creative ways to resolve problems.
Recognize when a problem must be advanced.
Capacity Modeling:Ensure area tool capacity meets output requirements.
Ensure accuracy through periodic data quality audits.
Adjust models as needed to provide appropriate functionality & accuracy.
Find opportunities to minimize capital expenditure.
Identify opportunities to improve the use of existing capital.
Data Analysis:Analyze raw data through statistical data analysis tools.
Make data-driven decisions and recommendations to customers.
Scenario Process:Analyze scenarios to understand the impact.
Quantify capital needs and highlight opportunities to minimize capital expenditure.
Share the analysis & involve partners in strategic decisions.
Capital Process:Ensure accurate submit dates, lead times, and pricing information is maintained in the capital planning system.
Provide sufficient justification for capital requests to partners and site leadership.
Requirements:Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related Engineering.
Fresh graduate / Minimum 1 year of working experience in the semiconductor industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Self-motivated, possess initiative, and ability to work independently.
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
