Production Planner

Job Description Establish packaging and raw material requirement as per production plan provided.Raise material order requisitions with Purchasing.Track and follow up on purchase orders, informing production timeously on any delays.Establish the consumable requirements for the production plan and raise purchase requests Monitor production chemical usage and report timeously on any over usage.Handling of day store stock balances.Head the monthly stock count, liaising closely with the Production Executives.Assist in opening and closing production orders on the SAP system, including goods issued transactions.Assist in translating the sales forecast into a workable monthly production plan and schedule, as per factory design and capacity.Any other duties assigned related to production activities.Requirement Candidate must possess Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering or related discipline.Preferably within 3-5 years of working experiences in manufacturing environment especially in FMCG industry.Ability to interact and deal effectively with all levels of management and staff.Must possess good planning knowledge analytical skills.Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and resolve conflict.Preferably knowledge of SAP software/system (SAP Business 1).Good in data computation using Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Knowledge of food standard requirements is an added advantage.
