Job Description
Supervision of Production Staff:Lead, manage, and motivate the production team to achieve production targets.
Assign tasks to production workers based on production schedules and ensure timely completion.
Provide training and support to new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Production Management:Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Monitor production processes to ensure that products are manufactured to company specifications and quality standards.
Address and resolve any production issues or delays to minimize downtime.
Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and correct any quality issues.
Ensure that all production staff follow proper procedures and protocols to maintain product quality.
Safety & Compliance:Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and protocols.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
Investigate and report any workplace accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Inventory & Resource Management:Monitor the use of raw materials and other resources to ensure efficient utilization.
Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure timely availability of materials.
Minimize waste by optimizing production processes and resource allocation.
Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other best practices to streamline operations.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation:Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on production performance.
