The Professional Medical Representative plays a vital role in promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. This position involves building strong relationships with customers, providing product information, and driving sales within the assigned territory. As Professional Medical Representative, you will deliver the value of medication to the patients and prescribers contributing to our sustainability target of savings 1,000 patients' lives saved per year.
Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving the annual sales targets.
Ensuring compliance with the company's SDG goal of providing good health and well-being to society and the company's SDG goal of 1,000 lives saved per year.
Territory management - Daily field calls and review calls on assigned target audience at a frequency as specified in itineraries to achieve effective coverage at minimum cost and time required.
Ensure new account generation and product penetration and continue sales in hospitals and clinics in the assigned area.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the therapeutic area, products, and relevant medical literature.
Stay updated on advancements in medical science, competitor products, and emerging treatment trends.
Identify, establish, and foster relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.
Provide scientific and clinical education to healthcare professionals through presentations, one-on-one interactions, and training sessions.
Provide professional customer service through regular coverage, developing the ability to respond to physicians' requirements and queries effectively.
Provide feedback to the organization on emerging trends and unmet medical needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, business development, and regulatory affairs to align scientific strategies.
Ensure all activities adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Stay informed about relevant guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements:Degree/Master in science-related field or relevant study.
At least 2 years sales/marketing experience in Pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
Good medical and clinical knowledge in the therapeutic area: haematology, oncology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, rheumatology.
Good analytical skills using Excel.
Sense of urgency and ability to attend inquiries in a timely manner.
Good in medical and clinical data interpretation.
Strong leadership with people management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Possess a valid driving license.
Two positions are available: one based in Johor Bahru to cover the Southern region, and one in Sabah/Sarawak to cover the East Malaysia region.#J-18808-Ljbffr
